Artists > Dodenhoff, Rudolf
Rudolf Dodenhoff was a photographer in Worpswede and the son of the painter Heinz Dodenhoff (1889-1981), who belonged to the second generation of Worpswede artists. After graduation he completed a photography apprenticeship in Munich and opened a photography business in his hometown after the war. He also persued his ambitions to work on advertisements for the industry, a branch of business that began to thrive during the Wirtschaftswunder in the 1950s. Dodenhoff, who worked and experimented a lot in photography, also owned the first color photographic laboratory in northern Germany.
