André Gelpke (born March 15, 1947 in Beienrode) is a German, Zurich based photographer. He is considered one of the most influential author photographers in Europe. Together with Heinrich Riebesehl and Michael Schmidt, André Gelpke was one of the pioneers of photography as art in the 1970s in Germany.
