Paris Photo Los Angeles 2014

We are very happy to announce our participation in this years Paris Photo Los Angeles at Paramount Pictures Studios.At Paris Photo Los Angeles the gallery presents rare vintage prints by August Sander and other key vintage photographs from our inventory. We will also exhibit works from our exclusively represented contemporary artists Sean Hemmerle, Jory Hull and Michael Somoroff. There will be a dialog between August Sander’s group of 60 portraits Antlitz der Zeit and a photograph taken by Sean Hemmerle in Bagdad, which depicts a portrait of the Hussein family and shows the desire to remove his family from the cultural memory of Iraq. We will also show a selection of photographs out of the series My Mind is Racing by Jory Hull. The complete series is published in a book by Kehrer Verlag, and during the fair Hull will host a book signing. Furthermore we will present new works by Michael Somoroff and a U2 portrait taken by Anton Corbijn in 1999.
