In recent history there has been a massive push for justice across the entire planet. This was not a new cry for justice to an unfamiliar wrong. We knew this problem was her, we know it still is. We know it needs to be addressed in a way that brings lasting change as opposed to replacing one oppression with another.
I have returned the gallery website to its regular start page because I have seen that the changes are happening. This does not mean they are done. This will take time and mindfulness and understanding on all sides.
Justice is not revenge. Balance is not domination. Peace is when we are at peace with our opponents, our oppressors. All else is a continuation of the problem with new actors and new roles.
