It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my father Gerd Sander. He was a father, a partner and a friend. A man generous beyond measure, warm and supportive almost to a fault.
His love for the arts was topped by his love for people. His friends knew him as kind and open and most of all giving. This is how our family has lived for generations. My father taught us this by example. For that I am eternally grateful.

In lieu of sending flowers I ask that you consider spending the money rather on inviting someone whom you feel is worthy of support and buying them lunch. Discuss whatever it is that they are working on. Raise a glass to Gerd and in doing so remember that it is always better to help someone than to not help someone.
